A summer activity for the residents from the Church Homes for the Elderly

Dar tal-Kleru organised a BBQ for all the residents residing within the five Church Homes for the Elderly within the Archdiocese of Malta, namely Casa Leone (St Julians), Holy Family Home (Naxxar), Dar Saura (Rabat), Dar Sant’Anna (Senglea) and Dar tal-Kleru (Birkirkara).

The event took place by means of a mass celebrated by Mons. Charles Cordina within Chapel of Dar tal-Kleru. Entertainment was provided by the Police Jazz Band. 180 residents from all the five Homes attended the event, which was organised and coordinated by Nicolette Scerri, the activity coordinator of the Church Homes for the Elderly together with Mons. Anthony Cassar, who is responsible for the running of Dar tal-Kleru.

The event was a success, thanks to a number of volunteers and companies or organisations who sponsored the event.
