The Chapel of Our Lady of Manresa at the Archbishop's Curia, Floriana

L-omelija tal-Isqof Joseph Galea-Curmi

“Merfugħ minn erbgħa min-nies” (Mk 2:3e). Hekk jiddeskrivi San Mark fl-Evanġelju tiegħu lil dan il-mifluġ li ħadu quddiem Ġesù, u jenfasizza li dawn kienu n-nies li ħadu lil dan il-mifluġ għand Ġesù. Nafu li ma setgħux idaħħluh minħabba l-folla, u għalhekk fetħu toqba fis-saqaf u daħħluh minn hemm quddiem Ġesù.

Ħa nħarsu l-ewwel lejn dawn l-erbgħa min-nies. X’jolqotna fihom? … Read more »

Jesus shows us how we live out our ministry – Bishop Galea‑Curmi

Mass during the live-in for parish priests

St Francis of Assisi Parish Church, Qawra

L-omelija tal-Isqof Joseph Galea-Curmi

Hemm tliet punti li naraw fir-rakkont ta’ jumejn mill-ħajja ta’ Ġesù fl-Evanġelju skont San Mark illum.

Servizz bi mħabba kbira

L-ewwel nett, is-servizz tiegħu magħmul b’tant imħabba. Meta fejjaq lil omm il-mara ta’ Xmun, ma għandniex biss ir-rakkont tal-fejqan tagħha, imma wkoll il-mod kif Ġesù għamel dan il-fejqan: “Resaq lejha, qabadha minn idha, u qajjimha. U d-deni ħallieha” (Mk 1:29)… Read more »
