Readings of the day

First Reading: Jeremiah 11:18-20
Psalm: 7:2-3,9bc-10,11-12

Does not scripture say that the Messiah will be of David’s family and come from Bethlehem, the village where David lived?” So a division occurred in the crowd because of him… Read more »

L-omelija tal-Isqof Joseph Galea-Curmi

“Kien hu li bagħatni”. Dan hu l-kliem li jgħid Ġesù fit-tempju meta qed jitkellem fuq il-Missier, u jgħid lin-nies: “Jien min għandu ġej, u kien hu li bagħatni” (Ġw 7:29). Dan li jgħid Ġesù għandu tifsira kbira għalina lkoll, speċjalment għal din il-komunità, il-Parroċċa tal-Ibraġ, li qed tiċċelebra l-25 anniversarju tagħha bħala parroċċa.

Nixtieq li nħarsu lejn Ġesù f’din il-ġrajja tal-lum, mill-Evanġelju skont San Ġwann, għax għandha ħafna x’tgħallimna kif aħna nkunu, kif jixtieq minna l-Papa Franġisku, dixxipli missjunarji f’din il-komunità… Read more »
