The Chapel of Our Lady of Manresa at the Archbishop's Curia, Floriana

L-omelija tal-Isqof Joseph Galea-Curmi

“Għall-imħabba tiegħi” (Mt 16:25). Dan huwa l-kliem li jgħid Ġesù meta qed ikellem lid-dixxipli tiegħu, u huwa dak li jenfasizza Ġesù meta qed jitkellem fuq kif tkun dixxiplu tiegħu. Dak kollu li jsemmi, fl-aħħar mill-aħħar, huwa “għall-imħabba tiegħu”. Fil-fatt, ninnutaw mal-ewwel li Ġesù jagħmel stedina: “Jekk xi ħadd irid jiġi warajja…” (Mt 16:24). Mhijiex xi ħaġa li se jġagħlek tagħmilha bilfors, imma hija stedina… Read more »

“The ongoing destruction in Gaza is horrific and unacceptable”

L-Isqof Awżiljarju Joseph Galea Curmi saħaq li dak li qed iseħħ bħalissa f’Gaża huwa “terribbli u qatt ma jista’ jkun ġustifikat għaliex in-nies qed imutu bil-ġuħ għax l-ikel mhux jasal għandhom”.

Hu kkundanna t-tmexxija tal-gvern Iżraeljan meta kien qed jiġi intervistat waqt il-programm Għal Kulħadd fuq RTK103 bi preżentazzjoni ta’ Christine Delicata. Kompla jgħid li quddiem dan il-“massakru”, bħalma qed iseħħ ukoll fl-Ukrajna aħna għandu jinteressana minn dak li qed jiġri f’partijiet oħra tad-dinja… Read more »
