The Archbishop leads a pilgrimage to Lourdes for Maltese patients

Archbishop Charles Scicluna, accompanied by 185 participants, departed Malta today to lead the annual four-day pilgrimage to Lourdes for Maltese patients, organised by the Maltese Association for the Transport of the Sick to Lourdes (UMTAL).

Joining the Archbishop is Fr Joe Mizzi, UMTAL’s spiritual director, along with two other priests who will provide spiritual guidance to the patients and pilgrims throughout the pilgrimage… Read more »

Parliamentarians play volleyball for Id-Dar tal-Providenza

Archdiocese of Malta offers 10 scholarships for theological and ethics studies

The Foundation for Theological Studies, under the Archdiocese of Malta, is offering ten scholarships to support individuals seeking to pursue part-time studies in theology, ethics and pastoral fields through the Faculty of Theology at the University of Malta.

These scholarships aim to encourage further academic and spiritual formation in key areas of religious and ethical education. The available scholarships are as follows: €800 for applicants enrolling in the Diploma in Religious Studies or the Diploma in the Appreciation of Ecclesiastical Heritage; €1,200 for those applying for the Postgraduate Diploma in Pastoral Psychology; €2,000 for students pursuing the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Theology or a Master’s degree in Bioethics, Environmental Ethics or Theology… Read more »
