Iċ-Chaplain f’Università ta’ Malta Fr Patrick Magro qal li kwistjoni komuni li kontinwament jiltaqa’ magħha hija li “ż-żgħażagħ tal-lum ifittxu ċ-Chaplaincy għaliex isibuha diffiċli biex jagħmlu l-ħbieb”.

Qal li apparti minn hekk, iċ-Chaplaincy iffitxuha dawk li ma tantx ikunu qed iħossuhom moralment tajjeb, kif ukoll “dawk bi kriżi personali, kriżi spiritwali jew dawk li vera jkunu jridu jagħmlu l-volontarjat. Hemm min jiġi sempliċiment biex jistrieħ bejn lezzjoni u oħra.”

Waqt il-programm Il-Voluntier fuq RTK103, Fr Patrick qal li ċ-Chaplaincy hija l-post ideali biex dak li jkun jiltaqa’ man-nies u “jidħak daħka” għaliex “nisħqu fuq l-importanza li dejjem ikun hemm xi ħadd fiċ-Chapliancy biex kull minn iżur il-post qatt ma jsib ruħu waħdu”… Read more »

Focus on strengthening palliative care, not euthanasia – Life Network Foundation

Life Network Foundation expresses deep concern over the Maltese government’s proposal to introduce voluntary euthanasia. True care means standing by those who are suffering, ensuring they receive the dignity, comfort, and support they deserve in their final days.

Palliative care remains the most humane and ethical approach to end-of-life treatment… Read more »
