Auxiliary Bishop urges media to advocate for life

Ritratt: Miguela Xuereb

L-Isqof Awżiljarju Joseph Galea Curmi appella lill-midja sabiex tkun ġusta fir-rappurtaġġ tagħha mal-verità, u sabiex ma żżommx lura ċerta diskussjoni b’deċiżjoni.

Waqt il-programm Għal Kulħadd, Mons. Galea Curmi stqarr li jekk il-midja verament tixtieq li fil-pajjiż ikun hawn dibattitu, hi meħtieġa li tkun kommessa twassal il-messaġġ. Huwa semma li ċerta midja telimina d-diskors favur il-ħajja, liema nuqqas iwassal lill-poplu biex ma jkunx jaf il-verità sħiħa… Read more »

When problems start arising at the same time

Il-ħajja tallum saret tellieqa. Veru li l-ħajja kif tagħmilha. Imma, bl-esperjenza ta’ ħajti, l-Ispirtu s-Santu jgħallimni wkoll li l-ħajja hi kif jagħmluhielek ukoll. Almenu parti minnha.

Waqt li qed naqsam magħkom dawn iż-żewġ idejat qed nintebaħ li t-tnejn li huma idejat estremi. U jekk il-qawl Latin jgħid In medio stat virtus, jiġifieri li l-virtù tinstab fit-triq tan-nofs, allura l-virtù f’din is-sitwazzjoni hi kif se nġib ruħi meta nkun maqbud bejn Scylla u Charybdis… Read more »

So that our efforts bear fruit – Bishop Galea‑Curmi

Mass organized by Europa Donna Malta

  St. Agatha Church, Rabat

L-omelija tal-Isqof Joseph Galea-Curmi

“La qiegħed tgħid int, ħa nkala x-xbiek” (Lq 5:5). Dan il-kliem ta’ Xmun Pietru għandu tifsira importanti ħafna f’din il-ġrajja li smajna llum. Hu marbut mal-kelma li jgħid Ġesù. “La qiegħed tgħid int”, jgħidlu, jiġifieri: il-kelma tiegħek għandha valur kbir.

Ħa nħarsu ftit lejn dawk li jieħdu sehem f’dan ir-rakkont marbut mal-kelma, li jurina lil Ġesù f’xatt l-għadira ta’ Ġennesaret… Read more »

In those days, Jesus went to the district of Tyre. He entered a house and wanted no one to know about it, but he could not escape notice.
