The Archbishop visits restoration works at the Jesuit Church

Archbishop Charles Scicluna visited the Jesuit Church in Valletta, where extensive restoration and conservation work is currently underway.

He was accompanied by Mr Michael Pace Ross, the Administrative Secretary of the Archdiocese of Malta, and Rev. Dr Nicholas Doublet, the President of the Jesuit Church Foundation.

Caritas Malta ħabbret it-tielet edizzjoni ta’ Caritas Run For Life, li issa saret parti fissa mill-kalendarju tagħha. Din l-attività se ssir fit-2 ta’ Marzu 2025 u tinvolvi ġirja jew mixja miċ-Ċentru Terapewtiku ta’ San Blas f’Ħaż-Żebbuġ u lura.

Half a million pilgrims have already crossed the threshold of St Peter’s Holy Door

Over half a million pilgrims have already passed through St Peter’s Basilica’s Holy Door since the Jubilee Year 2025 began just two weeks ago. According to a press statement released on Tuesday, a total of 545,532 faithful from across the globe have made the pilgrimage to Rome.

The opening of the Jubilee year took place on the 24th of December 2024 and since then pilgrims have been arriving in groups and processing up Via della Conciliazione – led by the symbolic Jubilee Cross – to reach St Peter’s Basilica… Read more »
