Dear brothers and sisters, buongiorno!

The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God who is love – The Archbishop at Pentecost

  St John's Co-Cathedral, Valletta

Għeżież żgħażagħ intom u tirċievu dan is-sagrament għażiż, aħna nitolbu ħafna għalikom biex id-don tal-Ispirtu s-Santu li se tirċievu bit-tqegħid tal-idejn, bid-dilka biż-żejt tal-griżma, bit-talba tal-Knisja jkun għalikom sinjal sabiħ ta’ kemm Alla jħobbkom. Ejjew nifhmuha din. Fejn hemm l-ispirtu ta’ Alla se jkun hemm dejjem l-imħabba. Allura meta nħarsu madwarna u fina nfusna u naraw dak kollu li mhuwiex imħabba, nistaqsu lilna nfusna: Imma dan ġej minn Alla jew le? … Read more »

Qegħdin nikkonsagraw dan il-post ta’ kult, ta’ qima, aħna u nibdew il-festa solenni ta’ Pentekoste, ta’ Għid il-Ħamsin. Ejjew nirringrazzjaw lill-Mulej tad-don tal-Ispirtu s-Santu li l-Mulej isejjaħlu ‘għajn’, “xmajjar ta’ ilma ħaj” (Ġw 7:38).

Fil-bidu ta’ dan ir-rit raxxaxna l-ilma mbierek fuq dan il-post, fuqna. Din il-ħaġa tfakkarna li dak li qegħdin nikkonsagraw illum hu sinjal ukoll tal-għaqda ta’ bejnietna… Read more »
