A vibrant spectacle of colour and sound greeted Pope Francis and hundreds of thousands of pilgrims at the Welcoming Ceremony for World Youth Day 2023.

A group of 14 altar boys from Malta and Gozo are currently offering their services in the Vatican and were lucky enough to meet Pope Francis on Sunday.
The altar boys took a photo with Pope Francis who met them after Sunday’s Angelus prayer, where they prayed together before the Pontiff gave them his blessing and asked them to pray for him.
