For Jesus the worst sin is not accepting him as your saviour – The Archbishop

Mass with the new priests

The Shrine of Our Lady of Mellieħa, Mellieħa

L-omelija tal-Arċisqof Charles Jude Scicluna

Ħafna drabi staqsejt lili nnifsi: imma dawn it-tliet kelmiet ta’ Ġesù dwar l-iżball tad-dinja, xi jfissru eżattament? Għax il-Mulej jgħid li meta jiġi l-Ispirtu s-Santu, meta jingħata l-Ispirtu s-Santu jipperswadina dwar l-ideat żbaljati li għandha d-dinja dwar tliet affarijiet. U rrid nammetti li ħafna drabi ninduna li anke jien naqa’ f’dan l-iżball għax qiegħed fid-dinja u kultant nittieħed mill-ispirtu tad-dinja… Read more »

Dear brothers and sisters, buongiorno!

  Parish Church, Balzan

Photo by Jasmine Carter L-omelija tal-Isqof Joseph Galea-Curmi

Għal darbtejn f’din is-silta qasira fl-Evanġelju llum, Ġesù jirrepeti l-istess ħaġa. Jgħid: “Jekk tħobbuni, ħarsu l-kmandamenti tiegħi” (Ġw 14:15); u ftit wara: “Min iżomm il-kmandamenti tiegħi u jħarishom, dak hu li jħobbni” (Ġw 14:21).

Għaliex Ġesù jenfasizza daqshekk l-imħabba lejh u kif għandha tintwera din l-imħabba lejh? L-ewwel nett, dan hu kliem li qed jgħid fl-Aħħar Ċena, ftit qabel il-passjoni u l-mewt tiegħu, fl-aħħar mumenti ta’ ħajtu… Read more »
