  • L-Assemblea Djoċesana 2018 kompliet ilbieraħ, il-Ġimgħa, 23 ta’ Novembru, fejn ġew diskussi tliet dokumenti tas-Sinodu Djoċesan li ntemm fl-2003 u żewġ dokumenti oħra li saru wara s-Sinodu. Dawn huma: Viżjoni ta’ Knisja Komunjoni, Xandir tal-Kelma, Liturġija u Sagrament, Lejn Knisja Dejjem Aktar Inklużiva u Il-Wiċċ Diġitali tal-Mulej.

    Dawn il-jumejn ta’ evalwazzjoni u diskussjoni huma l-bidu ta’ proċess li għandu jwassal biex id-dokumenti tas-Sinodu jiġu aġġornati b’mod li jirriflettu r-realtajiet soċjali preżenti filwaqt li joffru proposti u inizjattivi ġodda ta’ kif il-Knisja twieġeb għalihom…

Archbishop Scicluna says February meeting start of ‘global approach’ to fighting sex abuse

  • The Holy See’s Press Office released a statement on Friday in which it announced that Pope Francis has named several people to an organising committee to prepare for a meeting to take place in the Vatican from the 21-24 February 2019. This meeting will take up the subject of the protection of minors in the Church and will be attended by the Presidents of the Episcopal Conferences. Full statement of the text follows…

More than 1,450 vacant places in Church Schools

  • Ir‑regolamenti għad‑Dħul fl‑Iskejjel tal‑Knisja għas‑sena skolastika 2019 ‑ 2020 ġew ippubblikati fuq il-paġna tal-iskejjel tal-Knisja fuq il‑websajt tal‑Arċidjoċesi ta’ Malta. B’kollox ser ikun hemm 1,457 post vakanti għall-istudenti. L‑applikazzjonijiet jistgħu jsiru onlajn jew f’xi wħud mill‑iskejjel tal‑Knisja kif indikat fir‑regolamenti.
