The Gospel of the day: 26th September

  • Saint Luke 9:1-6 

    Jesus summoned the Twelve and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. 

    He said to them, “Take nothing for the journey, neither walking stick, nor sack, nor food, nor money, and let no one take a second tunic. Whatever house you enter, stay there and leave from there. And as for those who do not welcome you, when you leave that town, shake the dust from your feet in testimony against them.” 

    Then they set out and went from village to village proclaiming the good news and curing diseases everywhere…

A youth leader conference in response to Pope Francis' call to evangelisation

  • Plexus 2018 is an annual youth leader conference organised by the Malta Catholic Youth Network (MCYN). This year’s conference, entitled “With Jesus in the Peripheries”, focused on equipping local youth leaders to reach out to those individuals on the fringes of society. Romanian bishops support the referendum on redefinition of family

  • Changing the definition of marriage as provided in the Constitution: it’s the purpose of a constitutional referendum that will take place in Romania on October 6-7 on an initiative of the Coalition for Families, an umbrella organization representing 30 NGOs in Romania, including Catholic organizations such as Catholic Action and the Family Association in Romania.
