Pope: Christians are called to be witnesses of obedience

Bishops’ welcome the appointment of the new Apostolic Nuncio to Malta

  • Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna and Bishop Mario Grech welcome the appointment by Pope Francis, of His Excellency Archbishop Alessandro D’Errico, as the new Apostolic Nuncio in Malta.

Archbishop Alessandro D’Errico appointed Apostolic Nuncio to Malta

  • Today, Thursday 27th April 2017, His Holiness Pope Francis appointed His Excellency Monsignor Alessandro D’Errico, Titular Archbishop of Carini and currently Apostolic Nuncio in Croatia, as the new Apostolic Nuncio in Malta.

    H. E. Monsignor Alessandro D’Errico was born in Frattamaggiore in Naples, Italy, on the 18th November 1950.
