New Collective Agreement for Casa Leone

  • A new collective agreement has been signed between Casa Leone XIII, a Church Home for the Elderly, and the Professionals and Services Employees Union (PSEU). The agreement, covering the period 2015-2019, was signed by Mr Michael Pace Ross, Administrative Secretary of the Archdiocese of Malta, and by Mr Karmenu Vella, President of PSEU.

The Archbishop observes one minute of silence for victims of Paris attacks

  • Today, at noon, Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna together with Curia and Caritas Malta employees observed one minute of silence for the victims of the terrorist attacks that happened in Paris. Right afterwards, the Archbishop celebrated Mass and offered prayers for the victims who lost their lives in recent terrorist attacks, as well as prayers for peace.

Pope says using God’s name to justify violence is blasphemy
