L-Arċisqof Charles J. Scicluna tkellem dwar il-viżjoni tiegħu għall-Knisja f’Malta waqt it-tieni jum tal-Assemblea Djocesana li saret is-Sibt 21 ta’ Novembru 2015, fil-Katekumenju, il-Mosta, fl-istess post fejn kien tlaqqa’ s-Sinodu Djoċesan.

L-Arċisqof qal li huwa jiġbor il-viżjoni tiegħu għall-Knisja fil-kelma ‘evanġelizzazzjoni’, u qal li hemm bżonn nevanġelizzaw bil-ferħ tagħna. L-ewwel pass tal-evanġelizzazzjoni qal, huwa li niltaqghu mal-Kelma ta’ Ġesù, u nhalluha tisfidana kuljum.

Priests and religious, catechists and young people joined Pope Francis on Sunday evening for the celebration of Holy Mass in the Cathedral of Bangui, Central African Republic. During the ceremony, the Pope opened the Holy Door of the Cathedral for the beginning of the Jubilee of Mercy. The Jubilee Year officially begins on 8 December. In his homily at the Mass the Pope spoke of the Christian vocation to love our enemies, saying it protects us “from the temptation to seek revenge and from the spiral of endless retaliation.”

Bħala parti miċ-ċelebrazzjonijiet tal-50 sena mit-twaqqif tad-Dar tal-Providenza u fl-okkażjoni tal-Jum Internazzjonali tal-persuni b’diżabbilita’, se jiġi organizzat Kunċert fil-Kon-Katidral ta’ San Ġwann il-Belt nhar il-Ġimgħa 4 ta’ Diċembru fis-7:30 ta’ filgħaxija. Il-Kunċert se jittella’ mill-Banda tal-Forzi Armati ta’ Malta, bil-kollaborazzjoni ta’ RTK4Charity u bil-korteżija tal-Fondazzjoni tal-Kon-Katidral ta’ San Ġwann.
