Forum on ethics at the place of work

Il-Kummissjoni għall-Pastorali mal-Ħaddiema fil-Qasam tas-Saħħa, b’kollaborazzjoni mal-Fakultà tax-Xjenzi tas-Saħħa fl-Università ta’ Malta, qed torganizza forum bit-tema, ‘L-Etika fuq il-Post tax-Xogħol’. Dan ser isir nhar il-Ġimgħa 29 ta’ Mejju 2015, fin-12:30 p.m., fl-Isptar Mater Dei (South Auditorium). Il-professjonisti u l-ħaddiema fil-qasam tas-saħħa huma mistiedna jattendu. L-Arċisqof Charles J. Scicluna ser iwassal il-messaġġ tiegħu għall-ħabta tas-1:30 p.m. Id-diskussjoni ser titmexxa mill-Professur Dun Emanuel Agius.

L-Erbgħa 27 ta’ Mejju 2015, l-Arċisqof Charles J. Scicluna ġie mistieden imexxi Quddiesa fis-Santwarju Ta’ Pinu waqt l-ewwel żjara uffiċjali fid-Djoċesi ta’ Għawdex fejn flimkien mal-Isqof ta’ Għawdex, ikkonċelebraw il-kappillani u l-kleru Għawdxi. Qabel il-Quddiesa, fil-5.15pm, l-Arċisqof Scicluna mexxa r-rit tat-tberik tat-tliet mużajċi ġodda ta’ Marco Ivan Rupnik SJ li dan l-aħħar twaħħlu mal-faċċata tas-Santwarju. Pope Francis says that being with people does him good. In a long and very personal interview with Juan Beretta, a reporter from the Argentinean newspaper “La Voz Del Pueblo”, the Pope speaks of his feelings of when he was elected Pope, of how he misses walking the streets, using public transport and sitting down for a pizza, of how he feels moved and sad when he meets sick children, prison inmates and people who’ve had no opportunities in life, of how he would like to be remembered “as someone who did some good”…
