Liturgical Celebrations led by Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna during the month of April 2015

  • On Wednesday 8th April 2015, Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna will lead the traditional pilgrimage of St Gregory at Zejtun. The pilgrimage leaves the Chapel of St Clement at 9.30 a.m. After a short stop at the Parish Church, the pilgrimage will proceed to the Church of St Gregory where he will celebrate Mass.

Pope presides over at Via Crucis

  • Thousands of faithful filled the Coliseum on Friday night for the traditional Good Friday Stations of the Cross with Pope Francis. The reflections accompanying the Stations this year were composed by Italian Bishop Renato Corti, Bishop-Emeritus of Novara.

Pope Francis celebrates In Coena Domini Mass at Rebibbia prison

  • Pope Francis on Thursday evening celebrated the Mass of the Lord’s Supper at Rome’s Rebibbia prison. The Mass was also attended by inmates at a nearby women’s detention centre.  During the Mass Pope Francis washed the feet of 6 men and 6 women, including one mother holding her small child in her lap.
