The Archbishop visits the Marsa M.U.S.E.U.M.

During the middle of last month the Archbishop conducted a Pastoral visit in the parish of Marija Reġina in Marsa, where he visited the children and their catechists in the M.U.S.E.U.M. centre in Marsa.

Young ‘graduates’ hoping for a better future

Pan African Congress for Catholic laity

“Being witnesses of Jesus Christ in Africa today. ‘Salt of the earth … light of the World’” is the theme of the forthcoming Pan African Congress for Catholic Laity, which has been organised by the Pontifical Council for the Laity and is due to take place in Yaounde, Cameroon, from 4 to 9 September. INVESTIGATION INTO RELEASE OF CONFIDENTIAL DOCUMENTS CONCLUDING SOON

Caritas Malta voluntiers train in Italy

Twenty Caritas Malta volunteers working in various Diaconia Commissions all over Malta have acquired first hand experience of poverty and social exclusion issues in Italian cities by successfully completing a two-week Leonardo Mobility Traing Placement as guests of Caritas Europa.

Majority of bishops’ conferences, except Africa, draft abuse policies

The majority of bishops’ conferences in the Americas, Europe and Asia have complied with a Vatican mandate to draw up anti-abuse guidelines, said the Vatican’s top investigator of clerical sex abuse. Without counting Africa, “more than half of the conferences responded” by the May deadline, Msgr.
