MGR JOSEPH MERCIECA EMPHASIZES THAT THE WEALTH OF THE CHURCH IS CHRIST

“Jekk l-għana tal-Knisja ma jkunx Kristu, ċertament il-Knisja tkun fqira. Jekk l-Ispirtu ta’ Kristu ma jwarradx fil-Knisja, hija ċertament tkun sterili. Jekk l-arkitett tal-Knisja ma jkunx Kristu u l-ispirtu tiegħu ma jkunx is-siment li jgħaqqad flimkien il-ġebel ħaj li bih hija mibnija, allura l-bini tagħha jkun verament qed jiġġarraf. Jekk il-Knisja ma tkunx tirrifletti s-sbuħija unika ta’ wiċċ Kristu, il-Knisja ma jkollhiex sbuħija.”
