L-Isqof Mario Grech ilbieraħ kompla biż-żjara pastorali tiegħu fl-Awstralja bi żjara ta’ kortesija lill-Isqof ta’ Paramatta, Mons Anthony Fisher OP fil-Kurja. Din iż-żjara saret l-aktar għaliex f’din id-Djoċesi, li twaqqfet 25 sena ilu, hawn joqogħdu ħafna emigranti Maltin u Għawdxin.

Paramatta hi multi-etnika b’madwar 110 lingwa differenti! Anke ir-realtà reliġjuża hi varjata, għax barra li wieħed minn tlieta tal-popolazzjoni jgħidu li ma jħaddnu ebda twemmin, hemm reliġjonijiet oħra, bħalma huma l-Ħindu u l-Islam… Read more »

HOPING THAT THE DIVORCE LAW WILL LEAD TO AN INCREASE IN CONSCIETIOUSNESS ON THE STRENGTHENING OF MARRIAGE AND THE FAMILY

“Jalla din il-liġi ġdida tkun qawmien ta’ kuxjentizzazzjoni u impenn nazzjonali u ekkleżjali favur it-tisħiħ tal-familja u ż-żwieġ!” Hekk awgura l-Professur Rev Emmanuel Agius, Dekan tal-Fakultà tat-Teoloġija f’kumment li ta lbieraħ lil IL-ĠENSillum online.

Illum qed tinkiteb paġna ġdida fl-istorja ta’ pajjiżna, meta Malta tingħaqad mal-kumplament tad-dinja bid-dħul tal-liġi dwar id-divorzju. Dan wara li s-Sibt, 28 ta’ Mejju li għadda, il-poplu Malti vvota waqt referendum biex Malta tintroduċi liġi li tippermetti d-divorzju… Read more »
