UNITY COUNCIL MARKS 50 YEARS

The Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity will celebrate its 50th birthday with an ecumenical event this Nov. 17.

PASTORAL FORMATION INSTITUTE GRADUATION

On Tuesday, 9th November, 2010, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. presided over the graduation ceremony of the Pastoral Formation Institute, at the Seminary in tal-Virtu’.

The main aim behind the Pastoral Formation Institute is to form its members through evangelisation.

COLLEGE OF CARDINALS MEETS FOR A DAY OF REFLECTION

Cardinal Angelo Sodano, dean of the College of Cardinals, has sent a letter to the members of the college, and to the cardinals-elect, announcing that the Pope has invited them all to participate in a day of “reflection and prayer” due to be held in the Vatican’s New Synod Hall on Friday 19 November.
