During the celebration of Mass on Ash Wednesday, Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna reminded us that during Lent, our soul is renewed through acts of charity, prayer, and fasting. He said that Lent is “a continuous invitation for conversion and for believing in the Good news.” In his Message for Lent, Pope Francis insists on the virtue of charity and invites us to “open our doors to the weak and poor”. The Pope reminds us that “the Holy Spirit leads us on a true journey of conversion, so that we can rediscover the gift of God’s word, be purified of the sin that blinds us, and serve Christ present in our brothers and sisters in need”. During this Lenten season, who are your brothers and sisters in need?
