Every year, spring reminds us how life triumphs over death. The same can be said for the Easter Season. The Church renews itself through the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. His victory over death brings hope, joy and peace to all Christians.
In this year’s Easter message, Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna urges us to translate this joy into a continuous commitment to bring hope and joy to all those around us.
He expresses his hope and desire for the Church to be a beacon that not only gives light to humanity but also contributes to the empowerment of mankind, through a calling to service for the common good, to reconciliation between peoples and to a true spirit of compassion especially for the vulnerable and for the weakest members of our society.
