    The process of Church Schools Entry in Malta determines the admission of children at Kindergarten 1 and 2, at Year 1 Primary and at Form 1.  For the third consecutive year, boys will be admitted at Year 4 Primary, this entry being part of a three-year plan of admission for the years 2011, 2012 and 2013.

    Church Schools Entry is linked to the year of birth.  Application for entry at the different levels proceeds according to the instructions given in the Regulations listed hereunder.

    Declaration from respective school 19/20/21 November 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00
    Applications to be filled at: St Elias, St Michael’s or at the Archbishop’s Seminary on

    26/27/28 November 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

    Applicants whose surname starts with a letter from A-L are to apply on the first day;

    Applicants whose surname starts with a letter from M-Z are to apply on the second day;

    Other day is available for all applicants.

    3.    APPLICATIONS – THIRD CRITERIA: OTHER APPLICANTS

    Applications will be filled between 9:00 a.m. and 12.00 on the days and in one of the schools shown hereunder.

    Applicants whose surname starts with a letter from A-L are to apply on the first day;

    Applicants whose surname starts with a letter from M-Z are to apply on the second day;

    Other day is available for all applicants.

    Kindergarten 1: Born in the year 2010. Monday and Tuesday 18-19 and Thursday 21 February

    DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED

    1.  Documents to be presented on application:

    a. Catholics: to present the Baptism Certificate (original, not a photocopy).

    b. Birth Certificate from the Public Registry (original, not a photocopy).

    c. ID Card of the mother and/or father.

    d. 1 passport-size photo of the applicant.

    e. Separated parents: most recent document that defines the custody of the children.

    f. Applicants from Church Homes: a declaration on the appropriate form signed by the Director of the Home to be made on the same day of the application. The preferred choice of school is also to be indicated.

    g. Siblings:

    i. The Birth Certificate from the Public Registry of the other sibling/s already attending a Church School (original);

    ii. A photocopy of the identity cards of both parents; and

    iii. A declaration on the appropriate form filled in and signed by the Head of School where the other sibling attends.  This declaration is to be collected from the school on Monday 19th, Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st November 2012 between 9:00 and noon.

    h. If applying according to the Criterion for Employees, transfers or a Primary-Only Church School: a declaration on the appropriate form, filled in and signed by the Head of School.  This declaration is to be collected from the school on Monday 19th, Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st November 2012 between 9:00 and noon.

    i.  If applying according to the Criterion Grave Humanitarian Cases:

    Written explanation about Case in question, relevant certificates, these to include that of thestatementing moderating panel and lEP.

    2. Fee on Application: €10.  This will help cover administrative costs.
