Lent

Illum, l-Erbgħa 13 ta’ Frar, il-Knisja tagħti bidu għar-Randan Imqaddes: erbgħin jum ta’ talb u penitenza bi tħejjija għaċ-ċelebrazzjoni tal-Passjoni, il-Mewt u l-Qawmien mill-mewt ta’ Sidna Ġesù Kristu.

Tnikkitna qatigħ meta smajna lill-Missier tagħna l-Papa jgħid li l-kundizzjoni ta’ saħħtu ma tippermettilux li jkompli jwettaq il-ministeru tiegħu bħala Kap tal-Knisja. Aħna li nafu kemm il-Papa jħobb lil Ġesù u lill-Knisja tiegħu, nistgħu nimmaġinaw b’liema għafsa ta’ qalb il-Papa wasal għal din id-deċiżjoni.
