Cardinals meeting

The fourth general congregation got underway Wednesday morning with 153 Cardinals present. Four more cardinals arrived in Rome overnight, three of them cardinal electors, cardinal Lehman from Germany, the Egyptian cardinal Naguib, and from Hong Kong cardinal Tong Hon. Conclave in Sistine Chapel

On Friday 1st March 2013, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. presided over a concelebrated Mass during which four seminarians asked the Church to accept them officially as candidates for their Ordination to the Diaconate and the Presbiterate. This celebration was held at St.George’s Parish Church, Qormi at 6.30pm.

Benedictus XVI bidding farewell…Now Pope emeritus

Pope Benedict XVI has officially resigned, saying that he now “will simply be a pilgrim” starting his last journey on earth. The pontiff, aged 85, was earlier flown by helicopter from the Vatican to his retreat at Castel Gandolfo, near Rome.
