Priests discuss ‘new’ relationships during in-service course

More than 200 priests are attending an in-service course at the Archbishop’s Seminary, Tal-Virtu.  The topic for this year’s course is ‘New’ Relationships: Theological/Pastoral Challenges.  This annual course which is spread over three days and will end tomorrow, Wednesday 13th June, is an important step for the on-going formation of every priest.  Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. is attending this in-service course together with the clergy.  … Read more »

POPE: ‘AIRPORT CHAPLAINS HAVE ROLE IN BRINGING MAN TO GOD’

Benedict XVI spoke today to participants in the 15th World Seminar for Catholic Civil Aviation Chaplains and Chaplaincy Members, promoted by the Pontifical Council for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People. They were present in Rome for a meeting on the theme of “The New Evangelization in the Field of Civil Aviation”.

Sa mit-twaqqif tagħha l-Kummissjoni Interdjoċesana Ambjent ħadmet sabiex tagħti kontribut fuq diversi kwistjonijiet u temi ambjentali billi tagħti l-opinjoni tagħha fuq sitwazzjonijiet partikolari ambjentali u tgħin biex jinstabu soluzzjonijiet sostenibbli. L-informazzjoni miġbura f’dawn l-istqarrijiet kienet ibbażata fuq riċerka li kienet tinkludi ħarsa lejn il-policies u l-liġijiet ta’ pajjiżna kif ukoll l-iżvilupp storiku tal-kwistjoni.

POPE: ‘BLOOD DONORS OFFER INDISPENSABLE SOLIDARITY’

Pope Benedict XVI on Sunday called attention to World Blood Donor Day, celebrated on this coming Thursday, June 14th, under the sposorship of the World Health Organization. The Holy Father thanked everyone who gives blood, expressing his great appreciation for that form of solidarity, which, he said, is “indispensable to so many sick people.”
