ARCHBISHOP MEETS CATECHISM CHILDREN OF MDINA

On Monday 5th December 2011, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. met children who attend Catechism at St. Dorothy’s Convent in Mdina, as part of his pastoral visit. Later on, the Archbishop met Mdina catechists. Afterwards, the Archbishop met the Sisters of St. Dorothy, at their convent in Mdina.

CHURCH SCHOOL ENTRY IN 2012

Ir-Regolamenti għad-dħul fl-iskejjel tal-Knisja għas-sena 2012 ġew ippublikati fuq il-website tal-Kurja fis-sezzjoni Church Schools Entry.

L-applikazzjonijiet ser isiru f’diversi skejjel tal-Knisja bejn Jannar u Frar. Min ser japplika għandu jieħu miegħu d-dokumenti meħtieġa u l-applikazzjoni timtela dakinhar stess.  B’hekk l-applikanti ma jkollhomx għalfejn jinqalgħu darbtejn. Lista tad-dokumenti meħtieġa hija mniżżla fir-Regolamenti. ARCHBISHOP ATTENDS ECUMENICAL SERVICE AT UNIVERSITY

On Tuesday 6th December 2011, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P., Pastor Lembke from the Lutheran Church and Mr Peter Lloyd (Church of England) participated in an ecumenical meetings which was held on the University campus. This activity was organised by the University Chapliancy as part of their Christmas Activities with the theme ‘hearts wide open today’. By means of these activities, the staff and students of the university who attend the Chaplaincy are collecting money for Dar tal-Providenza and for a guide dog required by a 7 year old boy… Read more »

VATICAN MARKS IOM ANNIVERSARY BY BECOMING A FULL MEMBER

As of Monday the Holy See is a full Member State of the International Organization for Migration. -About 50 government ministers, deputy prime ministers and deputy ministers will be among those attending IOM’s 100th Council Tuesday to mark the Organization’s 60th anniversary and to look to the future of migration.

In an appeal following his Angelus prayer Sunday, Pope Benedict marked the anniversary with an appeal for greater solidarity for the millions worldwide forced to leave their country… Read more »

ARCHBISHOP CELEBRATES MASS AT THE CARMELITE CHURCH IN MDINA

On Sunday 4th December 2011, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. celebrated Mass at the Carmelite church in Mdina, as part of his pastoral visit and afterwards met with the people. Later on, the Archbishop visited Benedictan Sisters’ Community at St Peter’s Monastery.
