Keown kien għamel din it-tpingija flimkien ma’ mijiet ta’ studenti oħra għall-wirja li d-Dar tal-Providenza tellgħet is-sena l-oħra fl-okkażjoni tal-100 sena mit-twelid tal-fundatur tagħha, Dun Mikiel Azzopardi.

ORDINATION OF EIGHT DEACONS

HUMAN HISTORY IS A HISTORY OF SALVATION

During his general audience this morning the Holy Father dedicated his catechesis to Psalm 126 which, he said, “celebrates the great things which the Lord has done for His people, and which He continues to do for all believers”.
The Psalm “speaks of ‘restored fortunes’”, the Pope explained, “in other words, fortunes restored to their original state”. THE SOCIAL WORK CARRIED OUT BY THE CHURCH WITH THE ELDERLY

One of the branches of the social work of the Church is the service it offers among the elderly, a service which is subsidized considerably. The Church has under its direct responsibility five homes in which 303 persons reside. Besides these homes, there are nine others which are run by members of religious orders and which house 359 residents.

ARCHBISHOP CELEBRATES MASS AT ST DOMINIC’S CHURCH, RABAT

On Saturday 8th October 2011, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. visited the community of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Apparition in Rabat as part of his pastoral visit. Later on, the Archbishop celebrated Mass at St Dominic’s church, he then met with the people of the parish and after wards dined with the community.

FINANCIAL AND PASTORAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR 2010

4.30 p.m. The Archbishop meets with seminarians individually, celebrates Mass for the whole community and then dines with them, at the Seminary.
