CLARIFICATION ON ALLEGATIONS OF SEXUAL ABUSE ON MINORS BY PRIESTS

Further to the statement released by the Archbishop’s Curia and which was published by the media, regarding allegations of sexual abuses on minors by members of the clergy, that were brought before the Response Team there are a few facts which require clarification. The Response Team is the group established by local Church Authorities to investigate such allegations.

BENEDICT XVI SENDS CONDOLENCES TO POLAND

Benedict XVI is expressing his sorrow at the plane crash in western Russia that took the lives of the president of Poland, Lech Kaczynski, his wife and more than 95 others who were on the flight with them.

Shortly after being informed of the incident, the Pontiff sent a message to the president of the Polish Parliament, Bronislaw Korowski, in which he also mentioned other victims of the disaster, including the former president of the Polish Republic in exile, Ryszard Kaczorowski, Catholic bishop Tadeusz Ploski, Orthodox bishop Miron Chodakowski and evangelical military chaplain Adam Pilsch… Read more »

On Saturday, 10th April, 2010, Archbishop Paul Cremona OP made a surprise visit to youths in Paceville in preparation for Pope Benedict XVI’s visit to Malta.
