The Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity will celebrate its 50th birthday with an ecumenical event this Nov. 17.
The event will be presided over by Archbishop Kurt Koch, president of the council, and will be attended by Cardinal Walter Kasper, retired president, Rowan Williams, archbishop of Canterbury, and Metropolitan Pergamo Ioannis (Zizioulas) of the ecumenical patriarchate of Constantinople… Read more »
On Tuesday, 9th November, 2010, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. presided over the graduation ceremony of the Pastoral Formation Institute, at the Seminary in tal-Virtu’.
The main aim behind the Pastoral Formation Institute is to form its members through evangelisation.

Pope with College of Cardinals
Cardinal Angelo Sodano, dean of the College of Cardinals, has sent a letter to the members of the college, and to the cardinals-elect, announcing that the Pope has invited them all to participate in a day of “reflection and prayer” due to be held in the Vatican’s New Synod Hall on Friday 19 November.

On Tuesday, 9th November, 2010, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. visited Higher Secondary School in Naxxar and consecrated the students and staff to the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. During his visit, the Archbishop not only met teachers and the students but also answered questions which they asked him. On Friday, 5th November, 2010, Archbishop Paul Cremona O.P. ordained Rev. Robert Galea to the priesthood at St. Julian’s Parish Church.
